I hate to break it to you, but It’s not going to get better on its own

Oftentimes when people find out that their home has a sunken foundation, the instinct is to just watch and hope the problem goes away. And I get it – most people don’t want to spend the money!

Unfortunately, foundation problems don’t get better with time, they only get worse. That’s a fact. Like I mentioned before, these repairs may take care of the cosmetic problems, but they do nothing to address the underlying issues. The real culprit of foundation failure is the soil. All the homes weight is resting on the footings and the footings are resting on the soils beneath. Soil reacts to things like moisture content, temperature, and seasonal erosion and is susceptible to failure. For a permanent fix, we need a solution that is not impacted by the soil.
