This Langley property manager called True Level because the front walkway leading to the steps had sunk slightly and appeared to have a void beneath it. The property manager was concerned that the void could cause further problems down the road. Furthermore, because the walkway had sunk down slightly it made the front step abnormally tall, which is serious trip hazard.
When the True Level installers arrived on site, they reviewed the area with the customer and prepared the work area. The installation process started with drilling 3/8-inch holes in the concrete slab for the injection ports. PolyLevel was injected under the slab, filling the voids and allowing a steady and controlled lift. After the void was filled and slab lifted, the team cleaned out the crack and filled it with a flexible caulking material, called Nexus Pro. Because the concrete is a brushed finish, the caulking material was blended as best as possible by our crew, but the homeowner will be painting over the seam with the original concrete paint after the repair.
